• Cade Holmseth

    Cade started training on tissue and lyra in 2004. That passion has grown over the years to include other aerial and circus skills like aerial chains, corde lisse, fire breathing/spinning, and trapeze. He has focused many years towards education and has developed various full curriculums for the aerial arts from beginners to advanced. Cade's interests in safety and rigging have led him to pursue training with Bret Copes, American Circus Educators (ACE), arborists, and others. He rigs as a practice, as well as teaches others how to work safely.

  • Christy Klink

    Christy started her physical and mental health journey with yoga in 2018 as a way to release the stress from her corporate job. Practicing and sharing yoga with others soon became her passion. During the pandemic, her passions also expanded to barre, aerial sling, and aerial silks. She is a self-described “inversion junkie” who prefers to see the world from upside down.

  • Clara Younge

    Clara has trained on silks, sling, rope, and static trapeze since 2017. They completed teacher training through Paper Doll Militia in 2019 and apprenticed under local aerial instructors. Clara's circus coaching style is supplemented by an educational background in kinesiology and human movement science. When not flying through the air, you can find Clara working on contortion tricks, sewing custom unitards, or hanging out with their two cats and dog.

  • Courtney Paris

    Courtney earned her 200-hour yoga teacher training at the end of 2021 and started teaching yoga in early 2022. She’s also a former athlete and a current high school varsity soccer and track coach.

  • Gigi Chaton

    Gigi is an aerialist, chair dance, and burlesque performer living in Minneapolis. She is NETA Group Fitness Certified and is so excited to be sharing her expertise teaching chair dance and at Fly Freak.

  • Gina Heldberg

    Gina started her aerial journey in 2017 and immediately fell in love with the way it combines strength and fluid movement. She has trained and performed on sling, silks, and lyra over the past 6 years. Gina completed her lyra teacher training at Fly Freak in 2023 and can’t wait to help you learn something new!

  • Hayley Saccomano

    Hayley has four teaching certifications in several types of yoga: Vinyasa with Yoga to the People in Berkeley/San Francisco; Hatha, Yoga Therapy, and Prenatal Yoga with Yogadarshanam in Mysore, India; Power Yoga with Bryan Kest in LA; and Aerial Yoga with Galaxy Lifestyle in San Diego. In 2016, Hayley studied to coach Barre under Jackie Gladney’s guidance at DharmaCycle Yoga in the North Loop of Minneapolis. In 2017, she embarked on a 40-hour Trauma-Sensitive Yoga teacher training with Jessa Walters. In 2020, she revisited Barre Teacher Training under Tracy Mallet’s BootyBarre program. Hayley has been leading group movement classes on and off since 2008 and has led seven different aerial sling teacher trainings.

    Hayley began dance training at the age of three and stuck with it all the way through college. Her college senior project was choreographing a musical, and since she’s choreographed a total of three musicals.

    Since opening Fly Freak, Hayley has produced an uncountable number of aerial shows. Movement, creativity, endorphins, and a love of community has seen her through many hills and valleys in life. She wants to share that gift. Hayley’s students teach her every day and she is so beyond grateful for each of them and the lessons she’s learned and love she’s received along the way. Practicing mind-body-heart connection with an empathetic, honest, and creative twist is what Hayley strives for.

  • Julie Elias

    Julie first tried aerial sling in 2017. She fell in love with moving her body in a new way and the liberating feeling of being in the air. Julie completed her teacher training at Fly Freak Studio and loves helping people try something new and explore possibilities.

  • Kit Vicious

    Kit is the original fox and brings their passion for dance to Fly Freak. Their background in theatre, jazz, and dance team has fueled their ever increasing list of talents and drives Kit to pursue opportunities throughout the Twin Cities. They are excited to help you connect with your body.

  • Marissa Dorschner

    Marissa has been training and performing aerial and circus since 1998. She has been teaching in the Twin Cities for over 20 years, and has also trained, taught, and performed internationally. Marissa is the co-founder of performance company 2 Defy Gravity, which has been operating in Minnesota for over a decade.
