Sign our waiver

IMPORTANT! All students must sign our safety waiver before entering the studio.

Please go to the Mindbody scheduler site and create an account to complete this step. For children under 18, please have guardians create an account in their name.

Having a private party? Each member must make an account and sign this waiver.

Arrive early to find parking

The parking lots and ramp near Fly Freak are often busy, especially in warm weather! Give yourself at least 10 extra minutes before class to park, head inside and get settled.

Want to know more about parking? Check out our FAQ page.

Be on time (please!)

We lock the door 5 minutes after class has started. If you’re late, please do not interrupt class! Call 651-900-1636 to be let in.

Wash your hands

Before entering the studio, wash your hands to help us keep the fabric, studio equipment and each other safe and clean.

Stay hydrated

Make sure to drink water before, during and after class! We’ve got some serious workouts and want you to be safe and hydrated. To help aid in this, we have a fountain in the studio for everyone’s use.

For everyone’s safety, please do not consume alcohol before class. We reserve the right to turn away students who are intoxicated.

Have a light snack

Aerial is a workout. Just like you wouldn't want to run or lift on an empty or full stomach, you don't want to be hungry or too full when you come to an aerial class. We recommend a light meal or snack one to two hours beforehand.

What Should I Wear?

We kindly ask that students do not wear clothing with zippers or sharp jewelry in any class format. This helps us protect our equipment and avoid unnecessary damage. Thank you for understanding!

Aerial Classes

Silks and Sling (Hammock)

We recommend fitted athletic clothing that covers your torso, underarms, and knees to help protect your skin from fabric burns and bruising.

While shorts may be tempting in warmer months, they don’t offer enough coverage for our fabric and should be avoided. Long nails can also make gripping the fabric more difficult and are not recommended.

Lyra (Hoop)

We recommend wearing fitted clothing that covers your torso and the backs of your knees. This helps protect your skin from friction burns and makes lyra movement more comfortable.

Clothing that stays close to the body is also best so it doesn’t catch or shift while you’re in the hoop.

Land Classes

Yoga

Wear something comfortable that allows you to stretch, move, and settle into each pose with ease.

We are a no-shoe studio, so consider grippy yoga socks for extra traction.

Dance

Wear what makes you feel good! We recommend comfortable clothing you can move freely in.

We are a no-shoe studio, so consider grippy yoga socks for extra traction.

Taking Chair Dance? Consider knee pads or pants that cover your knees.

Strength + Movement

Wear comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of movement.

You may be moving through different poses, some of which cause you to be inverted, so clothing that stays in place will help to do this more comfortably.
